Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS reaches dealerships

Suzuki has started dispatching the ABS version of the Gixxer SF to its dealers. One such bike was spotted at a dealership, thus making us believe that the launch can happen anytime. 

Like we mentioned last week, only the Gixxer SF gets ABS. Its naked sibling, the Gixxer will be sold only as a non-ABS model for now. But the interesting aspect here is, the Japanese manufacturer has equipped ABS in both versions of the Gixxer SF, carbureted and fuel-injected. However, it is the single-channel unit that has made its way to the bike. So the ABS works only on the front wheel, just like the one on the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200.

We contacted Suzuki to get the official price for you. But we’re yet to hear anything from the company. We’re expecting Suzuki to add Rs 6000 to Rs 8000 more for the ABS version over the non-ABS variant.
