Royal Enfield registers single digit growth in July

- Sales increased by 7 per cent

- Classic 350 continues to bring the maximum sales

Royal Enfield has reported seven per cent growth in the month of July. The company sold 69,063 units last month compared to 64459 units in the July 2018. 

Out of the total business, domestic sales stood at 67, 001 units as against 63,157 units in July 2018. The export grew 58 per cent from 1302 units to 2062 units. The company has sold 2,86,726 units year to date. 

The Classic 350 continues to get majority of the sales for the Chennai-based company. Last month, the company also opened bookings for the Classic 500 Pegasus edition which was sold out in 178 seconds. This limited edition model has a production run of just 1000 units.
