Ola’s most affordable electric scooter to be launched on 22 October?

-         Ola may launch a new variant on 22 October

-         Rumours suggest Rs 80,000 price tag

Ola Electric is back on the news. Rumours suggest that the company is planning to launch their most affordable electric scooter.

This new variant of the S1 could be priced at around Rs 80,000. The top honcho of the company recently tweeted about a possible announcement on 22 October. This makes us believe that if there’s an Rs 80,000 e-scooter in the making, it will be most likely launched on 22 October.

This new variant could be a stripped-down version of the S1. So there will be a lot of features that could be removed from the scooter. There’s a high chance of seeing a smaller battery back that will offer a limited riding range. As of now, these are just speculations and we could also expect the brand to come out with something more.

Ola Electric claims to have built the world’s largest two-wheeler factory. So it is evident that it would launch a lot of affordable variants to keep the factory up and running as expected.
