Bajaj has launched the Platina 110 H Gear in India with prices starting at Rs 53,376 for the drum variant and Rs 55,373 for the disc brake variant (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). It costs a premium of Rs 2,624 and Rs 4,621 each over the standard Platina 110 model.
While the Platina 110 H Gear continues with a conventional design language however, it gets a few first-in-class features. To begin with, the bike now boasts of a five-speed gearbox. It also gets a new semi-digital instrument cluster which not only displays a trip meter, fuel gauge and odometer but also gets a ‘Gear Shift Guide’. This feature guides the rider to either upshift or downshifts, depending on the gear and speed at which the bike is running. Bajaj also claims to have smoothened-out the gear-shifts on the Platina 110 H Gear.
It also gets two new colour options; ‘Ebony Black with Blue decals’ and ‘Ebony Black with Burgundy decals’ along with the ‘Cocktail Wine Red’ colour from the standard model. Besides these changes, the bike remains the same. It comes powered by a 115cc single-cylinder engine that churns out 8.5bhp of power and 9.81Nm of torque. It is suspended by telescopic forks up front and twin shocks at the rear. The Bajaj Platina 110 H Gear gets drum brakes at both ends with an optional 240mm front disc. However, both variants get CBS as standard.
Bookings for the Platina 110 H Gear have already commenced in Bajaj dealerships across the country. The deliveries of the bike are expected to take place in the coming weeks.
