- New features for the instrument cluster
- Inverted forks with monobloc caliper for the front
With the launch date coming closer, more details of the updated 2019 Bajaj Dominar are coming to light via spied images, video and also through the company’s video commercial that was recently shown during a press conference. Now, it seems one of the test riders who had ridden the very first bunch of the 2019 Dominar has posted a video on his YouTube channel mentioning about the new changes and updates in the motorcycle.
The 2019 Dominar receives few changes like a new set of rear view mirrors, dual-exhaust canister and an updated instrument console with more features including a small auxiliary console on the tank displaying the time, gear position, trip and odometer. It gets a new side-stand which we believe Bajaj has implemented after receiving feedback from existing Dominar customers. However, the major notable change is the upgrade to inverted forks for the front followed by using a Monobloc caliper for the front brake. The brake disc has been shifted from the right to the left similar to KTM models.
The 2019 Dominar will be powered by the same 373.3cc unit. The motor is, however, expected to receive tweaks for improved performance. With few dealers already accepting bookings for the motorcycle, expect the 2019 Dominar to carry a premium of Rs 8,000-10,000 over the current price tag.
