Royal Enfield recently introduced the limited-edition Classic 500 Tribute Black edition in the UK. The 499cc variant of the company’s Classic series, which will be limited to just 1,000 units worldwide, has been priced at GBP 5,499 (Rs 5.38 lakh). The limited-edition model comes with a unique, two-tone paint scheme that comprises of matte black and gloss black colours along with gold pinstriping on the bodywork and wheels.
The motorcycles get individually numbered plaque on the battery box. Everything else, however, remains similar to the standard Classic 500.
Mechanical specifications on the motorcycle comprise of a 499cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that is tuned to deliver 27.2bhp of peak power and 41.3Nm of maximum torque.
The hardware, too, is similar to the standard Classic. Thus, suspension duties are performed by telescopic forks for the front and dual shocks at the rear. Anchoring setup comprises of disc brakes at both wheels while the safety net includes dual-channel ABS.
The motorcycle can be further customised with optional accessories like canvas panniers with mounting racks, touring mirrors, pillion seat and machined oil filler cap.
