After riding the Ola S1X 4kW 3rd Gen for about 800 km, here are my thoughts on its performance, range, and overall experience.
Performance and Handling:
The Ola S1X delivers a smooth and responsive riding experience. The throttle is quite sensitive, and while this provides a sporty feel, it can sometimes be a little too twitchy, especially when navigating through tight traffic or on uneven roads. It took me a while to get used to the sensitivity, but once I adjusted, the bike felt comfortable and agile. It handles well on both city streets and highways.
Range:
The most notable area of concern for me was the range. Ola claims a range of 242 km on a full charge, but in real-world conditions, I’ve struggled to achieve that. On the highway, I've managed to get around 100 km, which is significantly lower than the claimed range. In Eco mode, the range increases to about 180 km, which is still quite a bit off the official numbers, but definitely better than when using other riding modes. It's important to note that the highway speed and higher energy consumption due to higher speeds are factors in the range discrepancy, but even so, it would be great if the battery could perform closer to the advertised numbers.
Charging and Battery:
Charging times are fairly standard, and it’s good to see the Ola S1X supporting fast charging. However, if you plan to use it for long-distance commuting or travel, you'll need to factor in charging breaks.
Conclusion:
Overall, the Ola S1X 4kW 3rd Gen is a good electric scooter with strong handling, a modern design, and decent performance. However, the range does fall short of the claims, especially on the highway. The sensitive throttle might take some time to get used to, but it's a fun ride once you're accustomed to it.

The buying experience seems good, i waited for appx. 13 days for its delivery. Let me explain this review in 2 parts , the pros and cons.
PROS
1) The ride quality is smooth like a butter, and seating comfort is upright, weight is little heavy and so vey smooth and stable ride even at cruising 80s and 90s.
2) The performance is like a beast, having 3 modes (eco, normal and sport) With sudden pickup, it can easily go 80s and 90s within some seconds. Truly a beast. Can go 43kmph on eco, 82 on normal and 115 on sport
3) Range seems good. I really get the range displaying on screen with slightly 1 or 2 km fluctuating. With steady speed, I get 130+ in normal (25 percent discharge on riding 35 kms), 164km in eco mode (11 % dropped on riding 18kms), haven't tested sport mode. I feel satisfied with the range. Note: KEEP THE BRAKE BY WIRE AND REGEN TO HIGH TO GET THIS RANGE
4) Other notable pros are, headlight is extremely powerful making the road very clear. The boot is very large of over 34 litres which is very useful. The cruise control and reverse is very useful. The suspension seems smooth, previously riden activa, there the suspension is worst, but this ola handles speedbrakers and holes well. There is an app called ola, which shows the battery %, service related tickets, etc.. is good
THE CONS
1) We all know the most important con in ola - THE SERVICE yes it's the worst part in ola. My charger was repaired within a week. I took it to the service centre. They agreed to replace it. They told me to wait for 1 week but my new charger is getting so much delayed and finally, after raising multiple mails and all, got the charger after 26 days.
Other than service issues, I really like this machine. Finally 4 stars for the vehicle and 1 star for the service.
Ola is really great at making machines, and good at innovatoion you know when you ride on it. But Ola is inconsistent in service (which is the backbone of vehicles), which is the worst part.

I purchased my Ola X1 just a month ago, and have driven only 71 km so far. Unfortunately, I am already facing a major issue:
The scooter display is completely not working.
The scooter is not turning on at all.
This problem occurred well within the warranty period and with very minimal usage.
It is very disappointing to experience such a critical failure so soon after purchase.

Very worst experience for Ola sale and service. Particularly service very worst. Don't waste your time and money. I will buy s1x 4kw just before 18 days. Many problems. 5 time I have to go to service center. Its my true words. Totally depression buying this scooter. Already watching many videos and review but im not considered anything. But I remember all the failure videos and comments.
