The Overall experience of riding the beautiful mid-segment beast on the daily routine is quite good. The energy it delivers to the rider is most satisfying but after you cross the 85+ then it feels like that company has to provide the 6-gear shift instead of 5-gear. The spare parts cost too much. You can ride 200+ km in a single go without any type of issue in the bike engine.

1.Keep Changing the Brake pads after 8K-10K kms otherwise you have to cost for its disc plate it got skids very soon. 2.The service cost is reasonable but the costs of the spare parts are too high. 3.Change it clutch set after 35K-40K kms otherwise it get too hot and you have to face issue after 80+ speed. 4.Turn it properly as its turning radius is not good enough.

    1. Buying experience : Dealer sold this bike to me on a price higher than other TVS dealers in entire city. And brand new bike had a tilt, weight is leaned to one side which i figured out after few days. When you ride it, it goes to right side when you leave the handle free. No action was taken from dealer. Never mind. I adopted to it.
    2. Riding experience : Comfortable. Handles good. Handling is on little bit heavier side but very planted and stable to go around. Rear suspension is on harder side. And mono shock is not meant to live long. Mono shock got damaged going over a yellow black small speed breaker while riding on 23 km/h. Had to replace it just after 1 yr. 2 months.
    3. Looks are subjective, acceptable but could be better. Fit finish of plastic is worst in the category. No matter how careful you ride or look after your bike it is going to age very soon. Even metal parts started getting rust in the first year only.
Performance : Punchy engine, 44 km/l of average when riding sensibly. Breaking is very bad. Inefficient on high speeds
(around130kmph) gears aren't smooth. Short gearing makes it a pain in traffic as you need to shift very frequently.
    4. Servicing is considerable but parts are expensive for a bike of this category.
Maintenance : requires a lot of time and attention to maintain it. Else its going to die soon.
Pros. Ride quality, mileage, performance of engine.
Cons. Brakes, fit finish of plastic panels, comparably expensive parts. Side stand quality and placement. Gear shifts.
Verdict : A really good product from TVS with cheap materials and poor fit finish. Could have been way better on this price.

Ride under 4-5k rpm to get better mileage. If you go above 7k rpm it will give you amazing power but very less mileage. Keep the idle rpm as low as possible to get better performance. Keep on check the clutch adjustment. Wear helmet as it has no air protection.

Maneuvering the bike around corners is effortless, and it offers a sense of confidence and stability.
In terms of features, the apache rtr 160 4v doesn't disappoint. It boasts a fully digital instrument cluster that provides essential information such as speed, rpm, fuel level, and gear position. 1. Buying experience: was decent
    2. Riding experience: overall good in the city
    3. Details about looks, performance, etc.: Performance is decent can't expect much but the pricing is a little high if compared to a 160 cc engine. The looks are decent but the headlight is a little drawback.
    4. Servicing and maintenance: Servicing is decent but the service centre is not that good of TVS
    5. Pros and Cons: nothing as such it's just the mileage is good and the stylish look.

I ride, feels so comfortable. If I talk about looks, it's so amazing whenever I pass near anyone people always stare. The design is very impressive. The mileage is almost good when you ride between 50 to 70 km/hour. The build quality is always good, and the features are very useful like the fuel meter, a trip meter, and the most important feature is a reserve meter, sport mods. Before buying this I was not expecting this many features. Pickup is also very good whenever I start the bike I don't need to accelerate the bike simply start and put the gear. Overall, the performance, mileage, build quality, and features are good.

Ever since I bought the bike I am facing a right-side pulling problem and I am not getting any response from the service center. The company should keep service staff with positive behavior. The pant is of low-quality pant of the footrest is disappearing. Also, the same problem with the silencer but the performance of the bike is awesome.

    Tips for other riders

Ride under 4-5k rpm to get better mileage. If you go above 7k rpm it will give you amazing power but very less mileage. Keep the idle rpm as low as possible to get better performance. Keep on check the clutch adjustment. Wear helmet as it has no air protection.

I had purchased rtr 160 4v high performance model in july 2021. Till then i have ridden it above 14000 kms. I have done 4 road trips also on this bike. All trips were above 1000 kms. Comfort of this bike very good. Acceleration is superb, i love to ride my bike. I have touched this bike all the way upto 137 kmph. It can go upto 140 kmph i think. Overall i think this is the best bike for under 1.40 laks.

  • Be sure to take a test drive while buying the bike

    Nitin

Ever since I bought the bike I am facing a right-side pulling problem and I am not getting any response from the service center. The company should keep service staff with positive behavior. The pant is of low-quality pant of the footrest is disappearing. Also, the same problem with the silencer but the performance of the bike is awesome.
