I was researching and done test ride in following segment bikes ,especially in 200cc ,250 and 400 CC . in which TVS 200 RTR ,Bajaj Ns200,Honda cbr 250 Thunderbird ,Java ,KTM ,FZ S, MT 15. finally I have filtered TVS RTR, Bajaj NS 200, dominor.
TVS having a starting problem in wet condition and NS 200 is having chain sprocket problem in very short time .dominar had been updated recently but it is a star and very comfortable bike with very good road presence but the mileage of the dominar is 18 in the City 22/24 max in highway ride. since I'm in 30 s .I need to ride with kids.so I always search for street bike I never tried on R15. because of the seat height but I love that sporty type.after searching so long time finally I have seen the ad of Suzuki from the house of Hayabusa. the Hayabusa was dream for me .finally I book a test drive .
I've done 150 cc and 250 CC both . oh my God when I sit in the bike and when I accelerating be the sound was like a double barrel very convincing. I prefer 250 coz dual abs and more power with the matte black.. in 150 cc you have shine black and shine silver. bad braking in 150 cc
riding experiences
refined engine the . excellent breaking ,stylish look ,beast definitely, catch stranger eyes while you drive, mileages 24 in city e 28 to 30 in highway just now for service done they charge 900 rupees 1.2 litre oil change and chain lubricant done I suggest you people to buy your motul chain lubricant for every 500 kilometre u can lube yourself for change life otherwise you need to go to service centre and they will charge hundred and fifty rupees for that with GST of course
pros
1. value for the money
2. best in class very stylish appealing
3. refined engine headlight and tail light LED was awesome
4 excellent breaking dual abs
5. sure man, you are roadside stranger will definitely ask. when you stop in signal or traffic someone will definitely ask you which company bike ?is this is it imported?
6. my top speed is 140 and it's very quickly to reach hundred with 6 speed gearbox . I almost drag race between all segment which I said above still I didn't do with KTM but Suzuki is the winner with above all especially with 250 cc but I know KTM is also the beast in speed.
cons
1. back sitting quite high but lower than R15. so that if you go with your wife or girlfriend they will be ok for 20 minutes or half an hour without any problem after that surely they will I lye over you and it will be a extra pressure for you to seat and to handle the situation and the backseat of will be holding your shoulders or hits there is no grip to hold anywhere else.
2.bad horning definitely not for this bike convincing
3. shock absorber is not that much convincing
4. very important when I gone long drive is about 250 kilometres . single cylinder oil cooled unit got activated I believe but normally will activate. but in extra distance the engine was over heated and cooling system does the job.but the point is ,the heat is passing your legs ..u can actually feel it from your left knee part to calves does from the engine .even I was wearing a jeans still I feel the heat of the engine on my left leg. I just thought if I wore a shorts or track pant..it will definitely hurts. cannot bear the heat this is the only major problem which I face...
but still I love it...you cannot expect 100% ..it's omitable in long rides.
guys hope I had given a honest review...but everyone have their own view and taste. I had given mine.so enjoy riding SF 250.

Tips for Suzuki Gixxer SF 250

definitely wear a jean or riding suit to avoid heat from the engine.especially your left leg...if you are less than hundred speed it's not a problem.

Bought it in Bangalore and the process was hassle-free. The best part is its ride quality and the smoothness that it gives in spite of 250cc is amazing. It is for sure a head-turner on the road, especially the matte black one.
Service cost is minimal compared to other brands. People are very friendly at the showroom and will for a sure guide if there is something additional that needs to be looked upon.
Overall a great package for the city and long rides. I for sure will recommend this bike and suggest all of you reading this to at least do a test ride to know the actual experience.

  • Best 250cc machine in the market.

    Ashish Singh

Simply the best of bike one can get. The 250cc engine churns out enough power to overtake the vehicles in the city as well as highways. The sitting comfort is pretty decent. I have done a 980 km ride in a single day on this machine and never felt a pain in my back although my legs felt a bit cramped after I had done 700 km. The engine is super reliable, 30,000kms done on ODO & never has this bike left me stranded on the road. The build quality is also good. Simply love it.

Due to financial issues purchased this underrated machine in the second market in an absolute steal deal. When I ride for the first time fall in love with engine performance and the look. It's a gentleman-type engine in below 6,000 rpm. But when we raise the throttle upward to the 6k rpm the bike gets monstrous mode. The chassis and dynamics and Dual channel abs help to control every momentum of the bike. Services and maintenance are really cheaper than an xpulse. Pros.. good engine handling and you can do anything with this machine. Cons
Spares have some issues and clutch on a tighter side and gear tight issue feels in traffic.

    1. Buying experience - had 1 month waiting period, but got it on time. smooth transaction.
    2. Riding experience - the motor is rev-friendly and butter smooth. good torque at lower rpm. good for a city commute. can dash out of traffic and green light really quickly.
    3. looks - looks are not that sporty or aggressive like KTM RC bikes. but can give a bigger bike feel when u ride it.
4 - Servicing - The biggest drawback when compared to the KTM service center is the lack of premium-ness. Suzuki service centers feel really cheap. imagine taking a 2 lakh plus rs bike for servicing and u see a bunch of scooters everywhere. also, the lack of knowledge regarding some issues can be seen by servicing guys. this happens cos they are mostly busy with different vehicles without any resemblance in structure or parts. eg - KTM bikes are different but they are all bikes and many components are shared across the range. so the guys have good knowledge of issues faced by riders.
    5- pros -
-super smooth and creamy engine even at high speed,
    -super fast n torque,
    -comfortable rider seat,
    -good front brakes,
    -cheap maintenance,
    -big macho bike feel,
    -gripey tires
    cons -
-The ride connection is inaccurate and looks unprofessional. not accurate like Google Maps.
-The front windshield is too short for a bike of this size.
    -rear seat too small
-The rear brakes need more bite.
-The service center is common for Suzuki scooters and bikes.
-mirrors do get lost fast cos of that single bolt connection if u close them every time during parking time.
-chrome plated exhaust looks cheap, should have been black or grey.
    - The plastic fin on the tail rod below the rear light is unnecessary.

    Sreejith Vs

Bought it from Jos Suzuki Angamaly Kerala. The showroom experience was great. I had already test-ridden the SF250 many times before the purchase. So I had a clear idea of how the bike was. The engine is a gem, with no vibration, and really smooth along the rev range. The bike itself is muscular and offers a big bike feel, yet at 161kgs feels light as well. Power delivery is so amazing. I got around 34kmpl mileage in the city before 1st service. I mostly used to ride at a speed of 70 to 80 in the cities. The braking is decent. Not spectacular or worse. It does the job. Led lights at the front offer great visibility at low lights. The rear led light looks cool.
I wish the turn indicators were led as well. I am really not happy with the visor which is practically useless. Had to get an after-market DB visor which works fine. Even the horn is pathetic. Feels like a scooter horn.

  • Suzuki Gixxer SF250 Review

    Adarsh

The Suzuki Gixxer SF250 is a noteworthy addition to the quarter-liter sport bike segment, offering a blend of performance, style, and practicality. This motorcycle caters to riders who seek a balanced mix of everyday usability and spirited riding experiences.
Powerful Engine: The Gixxer SF250 is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that delivers ample power and torque. This engine provides a strong mid-range and top-end performance, making it suitable for both city commuting and highway cruising.
Sporty Design: The Gixxer SF250 boasts an aggressive and sporty design that resembles its larger sibling, the GSX-R series. Its full-fairing bodywork, sharp lines, and bold graphics make it stand out in its segment.
Limited Low-End Torque: The Gixxer SF250's power delivery is more focused on the mid-range and top-end, which can result in slightly slower acceleration at lower RPMs compared to some of its competitors.
Price: The Gixxer SF250's price point might be a bit higher compared to similar motorcycles in its category, which could make it less accessible to budget-conscious riders.

    Arun

    Buying experience -
I had purchased this bike from Natwest Suzuki, Chennai on 8-7-23. The process was long as the approval for BS 6 II was pending at the time I booked. The owner himself was very helpful and entire registration and other process took 10 days
    Riding experience -
I have covered 350 kms in 10 days, mostly daily commute. So far so good. Handling is excellent
    Performance and looks -
Performance is awesome, this quarter litre motor pulls nicely to triple digit speeds and is butter smooth at 80-90 kmph range. No lags or struggle, the engine is smooth at 30 kmph even in 5th gear.
Look wise I feel front visor is smaller and makes bike look childish.
    Pros -
    1. Powerful engine
    2. Decent mileage
    3. No back/wrist/shoulder pain for a sports bike
    4. Pillion seat is comfortable compared to rivals
    5. LED headlamps are awesome
    6. Bluetooth connectivity is superb
    7. No vibrations and super stable
    Cons -
    1. Smaller front visor
    2. Some sound can be heard from exhaust tip due to vibrations during hard accleration as it is not fitted perfectly
Upgraded from pulsar 220f and is worth every time I ride

    Buying experience -
I had purchased this bike from Natwest Suzuki, Chennai on 8-7-23. The process was long as the approval for BS 6 II was pending at the time I booked. The owner himself was very helpful and entire registration and other process took 10 days
    Riding experience -
I have covered 350 kms in 10 days, mostly daily commute. So far so good. Handling is excellent
    Performance and looks -
Performance is awesome, this quarter litre motor pulls nicely to triple digit speeds and is butter smooth at 80-90 kmph range. No lags or struggle, the engine is smooth at 30 kmph even in 5th gear.
Look wise I feel front visor is smaller and makes bike look childish.
    Pros -
    1. Powerful engine
    2. Decent mileage
    3. No back/wrist/shoulder pain for a sports bike
    4. Pillion seat is comfortable compared to rivals
    5. LED headlamps are awesome
    6. Bluetooth connectivity is superb
    7. No vibrations and super stable
    Cons -
    1. Smaller front visor
    2. Some sound can be heard from exhaust tip due to vibrations during hard accleration as it is not fitted perfectly
Upgraded from pulsar 220f and is worth every time I ride

    Buying experience -
I had purchased this bike from Natwest Suzuki, Chennai on 8-7-23. The process was long as the approval for BS 6 II was pending at the time I booked. The owner himself was very helpful and entire registration and other process took 10 days
    Riding experience -
I have covered 350 kms in 10 days, mostly daily commute. So far so good. Handling is excellent
    Performance and looks -
Performance is awesome, this quarter litre motor pulls nicely to triple digit speeds and is butter smooth at 80-90 kmph range. No lags or struggle, the engine is smooth at 30 kmph even in 5th gear.
Look wise I feel front visor is smaller and makes bike look childish.
    Pros -
    1. Powerful engine
    2. Decent mileage
    3. No back/wrist/shoulder pain for a sports bike
    4. Pillion seat is comfortable compared to rivals
    5. LED headlamps are awesome
    6. Bluetooth connectivity is superb
    7. No vibrations and super stable
    Cons -
    1. Smaller front visor
    2. Some sound can be heard from exhaust tip due to vibrations during hard accleration as it is not fitted perfectly
Upgraded from pulsar 220f and is worth every time I ride

Most people have really missed this bike, it is the only bike for highway, city, village, mileage is excellent, looks attractive, speed is like wind if you give a challenge you can beat any of the car. crazy racing, when you sit on the bike so it feels like going on a long ride, the bike was specially made for travel.
