- Jupiter Grande to get Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster
- Will show over speeding, helmet alerts
- Misses out on turn-by-turn navigation
TVS Jupiter is getting a major makeover. The company is all set to launch the Jupiter Grande with Bluetooth instrument cluster in India this week.
The Jupiter Grande will get the same Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster. The company calls it the Smart XConnect. This feature made the Ntorq one of the value for money scooters in the country and it looks like the company wants to repeat the same success with the Jupiter – its highest selling scooter.
The Jupiter Grande, however, won’t get all the features that we see on the Ntorq. Firstly, the new Jupiter Grande won’t get the turn-by-turn navigation feature. This is a premium feature and TVS wants this feature to be only seen on products like the Ntorq. The 110cc scooter will get other features like over speeding and helmet alerts. It will also sport call and text notification indicators. The rider will be able to connect to the Bluetooth system via a mobile application.
Aesthetically, the Jupiter Grande will also get a new paint scheme. The alloy wheels are new too, and looks quite good. In terms of pricing, there will be a minor increase compared to the standard variants. As for the pricing, TVS will peg the scooter at Rs 64,836 (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
