- Triumph announces warranty extension in India
- Customers can avail of the benefits till 30 July, 2021
Triumph has announced a warranty extension for its customers in India due to the ongoing lockdown imposed in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Triumph customers whose warranty is expiring between 15 April and 31 May, 2021, can now avail of the related benefits till 30 July. The same is applicable for the extended warranty as well. Moreover, the warranty won’t be affected due to the delay in periodic maintenance if the owners get their bikes serviced within 30 days after the lockdown is lifted.
A similar step has been taken by a lot of other manufacturers, mainstream and premium both. The government has imposed a strict lockdown in certain regions of India where movement is restricted. This prohibits the two-wheeler owners from visiting service centres, thereby preventing them from using the warranty and free service facilities if they expire during the lockdown period. However, such relaxations have brought them a sigh of relief.
On a different note, Triumph has just launched the 2021 edition of the Bonneville Bobber. It has received a couple of changes for this year and you can read all about it here.
