Suzuki Indonesia is all set to launch its new Suzuki Satria F150 moped for the Indonesian market. The bike maker will be holding an event at the international circuit in Sentul.
After being spotted testing at the Sentul circuit earlier, Suzuki has decided to introduce a new facelift of this moped to take on segment contenders like the Honda Sonic and the Yamaha Jupiter MX King. Suzuki opted to drop the carburettor and equip it with an electronic fuel injection system so that it efficiently feeds the 150cc four-stroke engine. This motor will now come with liquid cooling to enhance the performance of the moped.
Suzuki’s new Satria now has a sharper look thanks to the use of sporty graphics, changes made to the panels and the headlight design. We can expect this bike to come in three versions like the outgoing model and also anticipate a slight price hike in lieu of the upgrades, from the current Rp 19820000 (Rs 98,787).
Suzuki is known to have continuously upgraded the Satria in a bid to keep the moped a favourite among Indonesian riders and this update will be able to ward off stiff competition from the Honda and Yamaha stables.
