QJ Motors entered the Indian two-wheeler market with a bunch of models including the SRC 500. It’s a retro-styled motorcycle from the Chinese brand and we recently tested it. So, in this story, we’ve explained various aspects of the SRC 500 in detail.
What are the specifications and fuel economy of the QJ Motor SRC 500?
The SRC 500 is powered by a 480cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 25bhp at 5,750rpm and 36Nm at 4,250rpm. It’s mated to a five-speed gearbox. This setup is quite likeable as the engine offers decent tractability. During the BikeWale fuel run, the SRC 500 returned around 34.8kmpl and if you pair it with the bike’s 15.5-litre fuel tank, you get a range of 540km. However, the numbers may vary as per your riding style since we tested the bike in moderate traffic on city roads and highways.
What are the colour options available for the QJ Motor SRC 500?
QJ Motor offers the SRC 500 in three colours: silver black, golden black, and red with white. The bike comes draped in a dual-tone paint scheme for all three colours. That said, the entire BikeWale team was quite smitten by the red-with-white option.
What are the variants, prices, and rivals of the QJ Motor SRC 500?
The asking price of the QJ Motor SRC 500 is Rs. 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). While the bike has no direct rivals per se, it falls in the same price range as the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.
