Kawasaki Ninja 1000 gets colour updates in India

IKM (India Kawasaki Motors) has announced two new colour schemes for its sport tourer, the Ninja 1000. 

The bike will now get metallic carbon grey with metallic spark black and metallic carbon grey with emerald blazed green paint schemes. There won’t be any technical changes and the bike will continue to use the 1043cc in-line four cylinder mill which churns out 140bhp and 111Nm of torque.

The bike was launched in India in July with an aggressive Rs 9.98 lakhs (ex-showroom India) price tag. Initially the bike was limited to 20 units but since that lot has been sold out, Kawasaki has started accepting new bookings for the Ninja 1000.

Kawasaki has also launched the limited edition Z900 in India. Both the colour updates are just in time for the festive season in the country.
