JawaYezdi Motorcycles has updated the colour palette for the 42 in the Indian market and the roadster is now available in four paint options. The newly added Cosmic Carbon paint theme joins the existing palette that comprised Orion Red, All Star Black, and Sirius White.
All colour themes feature identical graphics and thus get an asymmetric stripe on the top of the fuel tank and the rear fender along with the Jawa logo on the fuel tank and the ‘42’ branding on the side panel. However, the Cosmic Carbon paint theme gets a carbon-fibre texture for the fuel tank and rear fender stripe. The new Cosmic Carbon paint theme carries a marginal price premium over the rest of the colour options.

The changes are limited to the addition of the new paint theme. Thus, the Jawa 42 range continues to use the BS6-compliant, 294.72cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers a maximum output of 26.9bhp and a peak torque of 26.8Nm.
Apart from the Jawa 42, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has also added a new paint option to the Yezdi Roadster in India.
