Hero MotoCorp may launch a 250cc variant of its off-roader motorcycle, the Impulse, at the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo. The bike was pulled off from the assembly line few months ago due to less demand and that is despite getting good reviews from consumers.
Hero MotoCorp acknowledges that the Impulse is a great product and is working to bring it back. The company confirmed that it will be re-launched with a bigger engine as well as with a 150cc engine configuration.
Few months ago, the company had announced that they have tested all the three new engines – 100cc, 110cc and 250cc, which were developed in-house. These engines are set to make its India debut in 2014 and we can expect the new 250cc engine to power the Impulse.
We are expecting Hero MotoCorp to do a more than an engine change on the Impulse. The Gurgaon- based manufacturer will definitely want to make sure that the current bike will appeal to younger audience and therefore, the cosmetic changes.
