Harley-Davidson has unveiled the FXDR114 power cruiser. for international markets. The bike is based on the manufacturer's Softail range chassis.
In terms of design, the FXDR114 looks like an aggressive and muscular version of the Night Rod. It gets a full-LED headlamp with a small headlamp fairing that is flanked by LED turn indicators. The chopped rear end sports muscular creases and also exposes the beefy 240mm reat tyre. Powering the bike is the 1868cc, Milwaukee Eight 114 V-Twin engine. However, this unit is retuned to produce 161.3Nm of torque at 3500rpm. Harley-Davidson is also offering Screamin'Eagle performance upgrades from Stage 1 to Stage 4.
The FXDR114 is equipped with a 16.6 litre tank and tips the scales at 302kg. It rides on a 19-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear wheel. The bike gets 43mm inverted forks up front and a monoshock at the rear with remote preload adjustment. The Harley-Davidson FXDR114 is priced at USD 21,349 (approximately Rs 15 lakhs). While it will be available in international markets next month, we can expect it to arrive in India by early 2019. It will compete against the Ducati Diavel and XDiavel in India as well as in global markets.
