- X440 Scrambler to get revised aesthetics
- Won't go into production
- Gets 27bhp engine
Harley-Davidson will showcase a new version of the X440. This model is a custom scrambler and will be revealed for the first time at India Bike Week 2023.
The American brand also has a custom motorcycle to showcase at events like India Bike Week 2023. While these bikes are usually made using outside help, it does assist the brand in showcasing the custom side of its range of motorcycles. This is the first time the X440 will go under heavy modifications since its launch a few months ago.
Mechanically, there won't be any change to the motorcycle. The bike will get its power from a 440cc air/oil-cooled engine that churns out 27bhp and 38Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Underpinned by a trellis frame, it rides on an 18-17-inch alloy wheel combination. The suspension duties are handled by KYB USD forks up front and dual springs at the rear, while a single disc at both ends takes care of the braking duties. Weighing 190.5kg, the cruiser boasts a fuel tank capacity of 13.5 litres.
This custom X440 won't be on sale anytime soon. But in the future, the company could use this bike as an inspiration to create more such models.
