- Likely to retain the styling cues from BS4 model
- Will get mechanical upgrades to comply with BS6 emission norms
- Launch date yet to be announced
Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer, CFMoto has released a teaser image of the BS6-compliant 300NK ahead of its Indian launch. The teaser image gives a glimpse at the headlight of the motorcycle and the setup looks similar to the BS4 model. We do not expect to see any major changes to the styling, although CFMoto may revise the paint scheme and graphics to distinguish the new model from its predecessor. Thus, the motorcycle will most likely carry forward the sharp design along with features such as dual-tone paint theme, split-style seats, rear fender mounted numberplate, and an underbelly exhaust.
Similarly, the feature list is not likely to undergo an overhaul either and the 300NK BS6 should continue to use full-LED lighting and a colour-TFT screen with two display modes. The hardware, too, should retain the upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock to perform the suspension duties. The braking setup will include single discs on both wheels while the safety net will be provided by a dual-channel ABS.
While the styling and feature list may not receive major changes, the mechanical specifications will be overhauled to comply with the newest emission norms. The motorcycle should retain the 292.4cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected motor, although the power and torque output numbers could be slightly different than the BS4 motorcycle. The BS4-compliant engine, for reference, produced 33.5bhp and 20.5Nm of torque.
