BMW’s 2020 US motorcycle line-up revealed

- 2020 list reveals BMW’s range

- F800GT, F800R likely to get major update

BMW Motorrad’s 2020 line-up for United States market has been published by the US National Highway Traffic Administration. This list gives us an idea about the possible products that would make its way to the world market including India.

The list that was revealed are of the existing models that will continue to be part of company’s product portfolio. As a result, we now know the bikes that will no longer be sold in US. The S1000XR isn’t part of the list, which makes us believe that this fast touring motorcycle will get receiving a major update. Probably on the lines of the S1000RR. BMW’s R nineT Urban G/S - a motorcycle that was never introduced in India, could also a get an update or maybe won’t be sold anymore in US.

The F800GT and the F800R aren’t part of the list which was bound to happen, as the company’s 850cc platform is ready and being used by bikes like the F850GS. So expect these two models to get major updates and make their presence felt beside the F850GS range. The two scooters – C650 Sport and the C Evolution are absent from the list as well. But expect these two models to be discontinued due to poor interest from the American buyers.
