Triumph India launch-Live updates

We are at the launch of Triumph in India and are bringing you the details of the event as they happen.

Paul Stroud, Chairman of Triumph UK, gives us the history of Triumph Motorcycles as well as what the company is doing today.

Triumph's growth since it began its second run in 1990.

Some of the Classic Motorcycles from the British Manufacturers.

All Triumph Motorcycles will be offered with a two-year warranty. Paul Stroud has said that Triumph's largest market is America and this is followed by UK. It enetred the Brazillian Market in 2012 and has sold 1,800 bikes since then giving them a market share of 3.1 per cent

Triumph will soon enter the Chinese and Indonesian market once it launches its Indian operations.

As part of its new identity, Triumph gets new logo and new colours.

The bikes to be unveiled are part of the range that is being assembled in India at their Manesar plant.

Triumph is now revealing the bikes that will be sold in the Indian market. The classic model range starts with Bonneville. As we know it is named after the salt flats...aand the first of the Triumph India line-up is unveiled! The bike will be assembled in India along with six others.

The Bonneville has been priced at Rs 5.75 lakh (ex-showroom) while the T100 has been priced at Rs 6.65 lakh (ex-showroom). The British auto major is now talking about their Thruxton cafe racer.

The Roadster is the next model as part of Triumph's India assault and is being followed by the Street Triple which has been given a very competitve price of Rs 7.5 lakh.

The Thunderbird Storm has been priced at Rs 13 lakh.

And how can we talk about the Triumph's cruiser range without the massive Rocket III which has been priced at Rs 20 lakh. The massive bike is on the stage and its presence is overshadowing almost the entire range. It may sound like a lot, but it not too much for what it has to offer.

Next up is the Tiger Range. The Triumph Tiger 800 XC is priced at Rs 12 lakh

Ladies and Gentlemen hold your breath for the The Daytona 675R which has been priced at Rs 11.33 lakh
