- Priced the same at Rs. 1,89,542 (ex-showroom)
- No change on the mechanical front
KTM has refreshed its portfolio by updating the colour palette of its highly popular offering, the RC 125. While one of them looks quite swanky and eye-catchy, the other one is quite understated.
The Blue trim of the motorcycle sports a combination of KTM’s signature orange shade with some blue thrown into the mix. The Black variant, meanwhile, gets orange fairing and tail with the rest of the bodywork and cycle parts finished in black. Interestingly, the price of the bike has remained the same at Rs. 1,89,542 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
KTM hasn’t executed any changes on the mechanical front. It continues to be powered by a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 14.34bhp and 12Nm. Despite being a small motor, it comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. Even the hardware package is quite premium comprising USD forks up front and a monoshock at the rear, both being sourced from WP. The stopping power comes from a single disc at both ends with ByBre calipers. Furthermore, the RC 125 boasts a sizeable 13.7-litre fuel tank while the kerb weight sits at an impressive 160kg.
In India, the KTM RC 125 doesn’t have a direct rival considering it carries a steep price tag for its displacement. But the one which comes closest to it is the Yamaha MT 15 V2.
