Custom Harley Street 750 Brat cafe racer to be shown at IBW

The India Bike Week is one of the biggest platforms for custom bike builders to showcase their prowess to the enthusiast audience from across the country. Rajputana Customs is one such design house who had showcased their take on the Harley Fourty-Eight at the last year’s IBW, narrowly missing out on the title of the best custom motorcycle. This year, the Jaipur-based firm is going to showcase the Brat cafe racer, based on the Street 750 at the IBW 2015. 

The Brat cafe racer’s ‘Phase 1’ was unveiled last year, and featured very subtle modifications. While the Brat cafe racer did retain most of the bits and pieces of the stock Street 750, the tail section was completely revised and sported a single seat. Phase 2 however, will see the motorcycle being completely revamped with a number of custom handbuilt parts. 

Speaking about the Phase 2 of the Brat cafe racer, Vijay Singh of Rajputana Customs said, “Where Phase 1 of the build was all about showcasing the versatility of the Street 750 while retaining most of the stock components, Phase 2 is about taking the build a step further and really going all out with the design and making some radical changes. The new design includes a new gas tank, rear set foot pegs, a performance exhaust and a new rear cowl amongst other elements.”

Like the previous two editions, this year’s IBW will also host a biker build off challenge. The event will take place in Vagator, Goa, on February 20 and 21.
