Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has inaugurated yet another traffic park in Delhi to promote road safety and educate about safe two-wheeler riding in India. This is the second traffic park started by the company in Delhi and is located at Baba Kharak Singh Marg.
People in the Delhi and NCR region will benefit a lot from this park as it is strategically located adding to their convenience. The area is spread to 1,172 square metres where skilled safety instructors from Honda will train children from five years and even adults about road safety education. They will specially focus on new and female riders regarding road safety.
Keita Muramatsu, President and CEO, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, "In just one and half years, Honda has educated over 85,000 people across India at our five Traffic Training Parks in Jaipur, Delhi, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Yeola (Nashik). Of this, a significant 27,000 were Delhi citizens who were educated on safe riding at Roshanara Bagh. Further, Honda has today adopted its second traffic training park so that more people in Delhi/NCR are aware of road safety as well as learn safe two-wheeler riding. People can conveniently learn to ride two-wheelers safely by Honda’s skilled safety instructors.”
Honda India has been very active in educating different riders and inculcating safe riding habits in them through these activities. They have promoted safe riding since 2001 and took a significant step in 2012 by setting up their first traffic park in Jaipur. Apart from the inauguration of this new park, the company also collaborated with the Delhi Traffic Police to spread road safety awareness in the city.
