Ola Electric has big plans for the future and it includes foraying into the electric motorcycle space. The company had made announcements about the same over a year ago and we’ve now got access to the design patent of one of the electric motorcycles that it plans to introduce.

Ola has announced that its S1 Pro Gen 2 electric scooter has been awarded the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) certificate by the International Center for Automotive Technology or ICAT. The certificate was awarded on account of Ola achieving over 50 percent localisation in its S1 Pro Gen 2 electric scooter.

Ola Electric has extended its previously available discount schemes till the end of March.

Ola Electric has announced that it recorded its highest ever monthly registrations in the month of February 2024. The company clocked 35,000 registrations for its S1 range of electric scooters and with that its market share stands at 42 percent

Ola Electric has announced a price cut for the S1 X+, S1 Air and S1 Pro electric scooters. The company has dropped prices by up to Rs 25,000 and the offer is valid till the end of February, 2024.

It was launched on 15 August, 2023.

Ola Electric has opened its 500th service center in India. This marks a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to expand its service reach across India. The 500th service center is located in Kochi, Kerala and happens to be the largest one in the southern state.

Ola Electric has introduced a new set of colour options for its S1 X scooter range. The Ola S1 X is now available in five dual-tone colours- Funk, Stellar, Red Velocity, Vogue and Midnight. The new colours are bright, bold and more importantly break the monotony of single-tone colours.

Kawasaki has revealed the 2023 iteration of its supercharged sports touring motorcycle, the Nina H2 SX SE. This motorcycle has been launched in the United States at USD 28,000 (Rs 23 lakh).
