A very good upgrade, with few niggles

I don't think I can saying anything new in this bike that the world doesn't know. But let me try
Confidence inspiring: A lot of people talk about weight being a -ve, and it is, however when you hit the highway, if you are like me coming from 150cc, this bike will give you so much confidence, it got the ergonomics right and the suspension absorbing small-medium potholes, it is just so easy to ride. I don't think any 400 CC bike (a couple of years ago) would compete with this on that. Either they are too aggressive like Dukes or very tame like the REs
Certainly a looker: This could be subjective, however when I compare the styling with others in this segment, it certainly looks really cool and this is something i have heard from people around us. When travelling with my friends in ADV 390, REs, Domi always stands out, that is a feel-good factor in buying this machine
Comfort: Whenever the talks about Domi, the statements start with weight/vibrations and end with the engine. However, comfort according to me is more important than the former. I can say i felt extremely comfortable riding long in this bike. It revs hard and absorbs undulations so well that you forget you are riding on bad roads, its only when we stop for a tea break other riders complain about how poor and horrible the ride as you realize that you are driving a superior machine. This is also due to the better seats available in the bike, At first i felt the seats were hard, however after many rides i understood the need for high-density foam and how thankful my bums feel after a day out
These are pointers from my ownership and glad to say i made the right choice, there are so many motoring channels that don't speak of Dominar but they always come back to vibrations, take a test ride for at least 25 kms if possible and then decide. Just remember there is no perfect bike, it only depends on what you want from it and does it delivers that to your satisfaction, Opinions can be from anyone but decisions must be based on your satisfaction and happiness and nothing else. After all, if you don't get what you love, why at all?

Tips for other riders

Lube inside and out every 500 KMs, start your bike daily and check thoroughly. Maintain air pressure as per the manufacturer. Don't put raisers, air cushions in first 3K kms, test your bike and change your style first and then make upgrades based on need only.

Purchased in 2020.
Good looking bike
Definitely enjoy raiding.
Performance is good enough.
Experience good service still now.
Decent fuel economy.
Less maintenance cost.
Great for the solo raider.
But Vibration on the handlebar.
The gear shift is not that good.
Sometimes wobbles at high speed if windy.
The rear brake is not that great.

Mustafa Rangoonwala

Good day, readers.
I'd like you to get a cup of tea and read the entire review since it's going to be long, and you'll need it. You will not comprehend the points if you do not read the entire evaluation, and you will continue to buy foreign products as normal.
It all started when i realized i needed to get a gear bike since i was tired of my honda aviator 110cc, which i had ridden for over 42000 kilometers in less than two years. I began looking for a bike that provides performance comfort. Yeah, you heard correctly; i didn't go for mileage since i knew I'd be buying a bike with at least 300+ cc that wouldn't offer me ml, so don't look for it because you might be buying 900cc or 1250cc and won't receive ml or else you'll buy that bike (off track but the mindset is important).
I began researching other manufacturers and began visiting their showrooms to assess price points and other things. I compiled a list of four bikes, which i also discussed in my first youtube video.
1) Himalayan 2021 royal enfield
2) imperiale 400 Benelli
3) the re meteor
Did you notice anything unusual?... Yes, Bajaj was my last option. So i started looking at specs and anything else that was available online and offline. I started questioning friends about it, and i went insane. Yes, you'll have to be insane to get the correct one, and i was looking for performance and comfort with beast mode.
After much deliberation and after visiting about 50+ showrooms of several bike manufacturers, i opted for the dominar 400.
Now, most people would opt for re or Benelli or anything else, but i'll tell you what i was searching for in my bike.
I was looking at engine power, torque, and comfort, and none of them could compete with the dominar 400 ug 2021 edition.
Engine411 cc power 24.31 ps torque 32 nm mileage 32.04 km brakes tube for double disc tyres
Specifications for the royal enfield meteor 350
Max power is 20.4 ps at 6100 rpm, while max torque is 27 nm at 4000 rpm.
Front disc brake
Fuel capacity 15 l body type cruiser bikes rear brake disc
Bajaj dominar 400 ug 2021
Engine 373.3 cc power 40 ps torque 35 nm mileage 26.50 km brakes
Tubeless double disc tyre
Finally, i opted for the dominar 400 because it can perform some off-roading, but the re Himalayan was meant primarily for off-roading, but the specs were still poor. It's not a bad bike, but you're paying your hard-earned money for it, right? of course, re Himalayan owners would be wild about this bike, and i believe they are correct, but at some point, you need torque.
I believe the dominar 400 is an underdog bike, but trust me, it's a beast...Yeah, it's heavy and has some flaws, such as the tank not being made of metal, but every bike has some or other issue. Rather than sacrificing performance and power, i would go for a heavier bike.
The dominar 400 ug version is one of the best 400cc bikes in its class... Trust me, compare it to any other brand and see what you get here. Congratulations to the Bajaj group. I'm looking forward to the dominar 600 or 900cc...
