Yamaha Motor India has recently introduced a new colour option for its highly-popular fully-faired offering, the YZF R15 V3. Now, the total number of paint schemes available in the colour palette of the R15 stand at four.
The recently-added Metallic Red and Thunder Grey paint schemes are the cheapest, priced at Rs 1,52,100. While the former gets red body work with black graphics, the latter is adorned with grey panels complemented by contrasting red decals. Meanwhile, Rs 1100 more expensive is the Racing Blue colour that makes it look similar to the larger Yamaha R6 and R1. Sitting on top is the Dark Knight version that costs Rs 1,54,200. It sports a stealth-looking black paint job across its body work with white decals.
The Yamaha YZF R15 V3 is a fully-faired bike not only suitable for the streets, but it is also a beginner-friendly track tool with sharp handling dynamics and extraordinary performance for its displacement. Powering the R15 is a 155cc, liquid-cooled engine featuring VVA (variable valve actuation) technology. It churns out 18.37bhp of power and 14.1Nm of peak torque. Its six-speed gearbox is accompanied by a slipper clutch.
