TVS Motor Company will unveil the Marvel editions of its 125cc motorcycle, the Raider 125 today, 11 August, 2023. Previously, the company offered the Marvel theme on its 125cc scooter, the Ntorq 125, to attract young buyers. Now, the Hosur-based manufacturer aims to boost the sales of the Raider 125 with the special theme during the high-demand festive season.
The Marvel edition will pack a special superhero themes to the Raider 125. These will most likely include Captain America, Iron Man, and Black Panther inspired themes. Meanwhile, the design will remain similar to the standard model. Thus, the TVS Raider 125 Marvel edition will retain the single-pod headlight with integrated DRLs, fuel tank shrouds, a split-style seat, a single-piece pillion grab-rail, and a side-slung exhaust.
The mechanical specifications, too, will remain similar to the standard model. For reference, the standard TVS Raider 125 uses a 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 11.2bhp of maximum power at 7,500rpm and 11.2Nm of peak torque at 6,000rpm. This motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The feature list, too, will remain identical to the standard variant. However, this version may benefit from special graphics that would be inspired by the Marvel superheroes.
The new TVS Raider Marvel edition will be unveiled later today, between 9:30-10:00 PM.
