Yamaha engine can even run on bad spark plugs and the wear tear of clutch plate is not felt since engine refinement and power delivery remain undisturbed due to awesome engineering. So whoever is getting less mileage on szr fz or any Yamaha bike, just changing the spark plug and setting carburetor freshly and if required changing the air filter can get mileage above 45 easily.

My First bike. Why Yamaha discontinues this I don't know, may be for MT15, but this bike has everything a good commute bike possesses. There may be some features missing like the engine kill switch, digital instrument cluster, tubeless tire, etc. but these are compromised against the price. In this price range, nothing compared.

In 2013 I bought the Yamaha Sz-r bike. Overall the bike's performance is amazing. The long drive is superb with decent mileage. The sitting position is very good. I feel like riding a horse. The shock absorber is good. Rear drum brake and front disc brakes are very smooth. The pickup is very good. I love it.

Best bike by yamaha.

Using it since 2013 and best bike ever driven. I don't know why the company discontinued this bike. This bike is a gem and it gives minimum mileage of 48km/l. On the highway, it gives 52-55 km/l. In a city where there is no traffic, it crosses 50 mark mileage.Looks are head-turning. This bike demands servicing every 3000kms and you should respect that. Service this bike regularly and this bike will never disappoint you.Its headlight is a little low and at night you will face difficulty in riding it but overall this bike's performance is really good.

Service every 3000kms is a must. You keep it like a queen, it will never disappoint you ever. Ride around 50-60kmph. Keep it serviced regularly and enjoy riding this bike.

Superb engine. Very much refined. I am using 2011 model of yamaha sz-r. My experience was amazing. Very much refined. It used to share similar engine which was in fz 150. Nobody can touch yamaha sz-r, fz and honda unicorn in case of refined engine in 150 cc category. From 2011 till mt and new generation bikes. Still they are best bike. In comparison to many latest bike. Very premium in case of quality.

Bike was amazing, good riding experience, better road grip. Con is no mileage i am getting 38 km/l. I have driven 87895 km till date The experience is good in my 87000/km ride. Good power delivery, Engine is similar to fz, Good looking bike and good riding experience. The carburetor issue and mileage issue is routine.

Very expensive bike ever

This bike was blessed with high speed and has very comfortable braking system. This bike is very similar to TVS RTR and seating capacity is very good. This bike is very fast running in village road. This bike is looking very similar with Pulser 200.

Bad and defective model

Buying experience was bad i did not received ,the color i ordered, but i was forgiven them dealer shinrai yamaha(erna kulam). Riding experience in szr was straight road was ok, climbing hilly roads even worse, though initial pick up good, after that it runs like a old bull cart, when we reach top gear 5th it is a panter ,no way in India we can ride more 15 mins in top gear unless you are travelling in national high way. Looks of the bike was average, performance good initial pickup and great sound from silencer, rest are very terrible no mileage 50 to drop off 25kmpl in one year, service of yamaha ok , costly parts we have make lot of arguments then they warranty of 1 year. Pros- less price,, sports look,less weight .Cons -very bad mileage,less power, higher maintenance.

Please use synthetic motul oil, cdu unit cracks u will hear big sound no problem,clutch is very unfortunate for this bike, so use clutch when only gear changing.

Good looking bike and good riding experience

Bike was amazing, good riding experience, better road grip. Con is no mileage i am getting 38 km/l. I have driven 87895 km till date The experience is good in my 87000/km ride. Good power delivery, Engine is similar to fz, Good looking bike and good riding experience. The carburetor issue and mileage issue is routine.

Very expensive bike ever

This bike was blessed with high speed and has very comfortable braking system. This bike is very similar to TVS RTR and seating capacity is very good. This bike is very fast running in village road. This bike is looking very similar with Pulser 200.

It looks sporty bike with blue colour with 153cc great pickup.Engine is in excellent condition. Tyres with good condition.Disc break.Great pickup.Good for mountains running.Once you ride this bike,must say to get great experience. Low maintenance bike as per experience and rode over delhi's traffic roads.

Bad and defective model

Buying experience was bad i did not received ,the color i ordered, but i was forgiven them dealer shinrai yamaha(erna kulam). Riding experience in szr was straight road was ok, climbing hilly roads even worse, though initial pick up good, after that it runs like a old bull cart, when we reach top gear 5th it is a panter ,no way in India we can ride more 15 mins in top gear unless you are travelling in national high way. Looks of the bike was average, performance good initial pickup and great sound from silencer, rest are very terrible no mileage 50 to drop off 25kmpl in one year, service of yamaha ok , costly parts we have make lot of arguments then they warranty of 1 year. Pros- less price,, sports look,less weight .Cons -very bad mileage,less power, higher maintenance.

Please use synthetic motul oil, cdu unit cracks u will hear big sound no problem,clutch is very unfortunate for this bike, so use clutch when only gear changing.

My First bike. Why Yamaha discontinues this I don't know, may be for MT15, but this bike has everything a good commute bike possesses. There may be some features missing like the engine kill switch, digital instrument cluster, tubeless tire, etc. but these are compromised against the price. In this price range, nothing compared.

Super duper bike. my first bike. make my safe journey always love SZR.@Yamaha long drive on SZR is very comfortable. bikes look like sport. the official person feels comfortable. speed and smooth power are great. control is easy, low maintenance love this bike.

In 2013 I bought the Yamaha Sz-r bike. Overall the bike's performance is amazing. The long drive is superb with decent mileage. The sitting position is very good. I feel like riding a horse. The shock absorber is good. Rear drum brake and front disc brakes are very smooth. The pickup is very good. I love it.

Best bike by yamaha.

Using it since 2013 and best bike ever driven. I don't know why the company discontinued this bike. This bike is a gem and it gives minimum mileage of 48km/l. On the highway, it gives 52-55 km/l. In a city where there is no traffic, it crosses 50 mark mileage.Looks are head-turning. This bike demands servicing every 3000kms and you should respect that. Service this bike regularly and this bike will never disappoint you.Its headlight is a little low and at night you will face difficulty in riding it but overall this bike's performance is really good.

Service every 3000kms is a must. You keep it like a queen, it will never disappoint you ever. Ride around 50-60kmph. Keep it serviced regularly and enjoy riding this bike.

Superb engine. Very much refined. I am using 2011 model of yamaha sz-r. My experience was amazing. Very much refined. It used to share similar engine which was in fz 150. Nobody can touch yamaha sz-r, fz and honda unicorn in case of refined engine in 150 cc category. From 2011 till mt and new generation bikes. Still they are best bike. In comparison to many latest bike. Very premium in case of quality.
