It's a good and smooth bike it has two modes also and it is 5 transmissions which give smoothness to the bike and it's average mileage is 40-45. Its design is also awesome and looking like beast. It has 199.7cc super power which gives sufficient power to the bike. But it seats are not that much comfortable.

Tips for TVS Apache RTR 200 4V

Change the engine oil after every 2000km because after 2000km it's power goes down.

The Apache RTR 200 4V is a phenomenal motorcycle and one can cover long journeys with it at ease. However, it gets a five-speed gearbox only and the addition of a sixth gear would have been certainly better for cruising at highway speeds for a long duration of time without stressing the motor. And I am very happy with this.

Certainly! Here's a more detailed review in 300 words:
The buying experience of the RTR 200 was seamless, thanks to the knowledgeable dealership staff who guided me through the selection process. They provided valuable insights into the different models available and helped me choose one that suited my preferences. The paperwork was handled efficiently, making the entire purchasing process stress-free and enjoyable.
Riding the RTR 200 has been an absolute joy. Its powerful engine delivers exhilarating acceleration, making every ride a thrilling experience. Whether navigating through city streets or cruising on the highway, the bike handles with precision and agility. The seating position is comfortable, allowing for extended rides without discomfort.
In terms of looks and performance, the RTR 200 stands out with its sleek and sporty design. The aggressive styling, coupled with advanced features like dual-channel ABS and LED headlamps, enhances both the aesthetics and safety of the bike. The digital instrument cluster provides all the necessary information at a glance, adding to the convenience factor.
Servicing and maintenance of the RTR 200 have been hassle-free. The service intervals are reasonable, and spare parts are readily available, ensuring that the bike remains in top condition. The service centers are professional and ensure that the bike is well-maintained, contributing to its longevity and performance on the road.
While the RTR 200 has numerous pros, including its powerful engine, excellent handling, and attractive design, there are a few minor cons to consider. Some riders may find the seat a bit firm for long rides, and enthusiasts might desire a louder stock exhaust for a more aggressive sound.
Overall, the RTR 200 offers an exceptional riding experience, blending performance, style, and reliability seamlessly. It's a top choice for riders seeking a thrilling and comfortable ride with modern features and dependable performance.

First of all on paper it seems awesome but in reality it's very different.
    I purchased a 200 4V in dec 2020 and I have covered 28000 kilometres on this bike.
This bike has problems now and then, and the built quality is very poor. (Sometimes starting issue, battery down issue even though the battery is fully charged etc)
Like its balancer gets damaged while tackling potholes,
Its chain sprocket is very poor i had to replace it at 11000 kilometres just to let you know I ride my bike sensibly.
    Its LED light got dim.
Certain noise comes from the engine kat kat kat
Whenever I visit the service centre one or more parts have to be replaced for sure.
Till now I have spent nearly 30k to 35k on this bike.
Radial tyre got damaged at 21000 km which was shocking as in my area roads are good.
I will not recommend this bike its on-road price must be eye-catching but after-sales service as well as the built quality is pathetic
    Choose your vehicle wisely.

Get your chain clean and lube every 250 km to 300 km because its chain gets dry very fast. Service is required at every 2000 km to 2500 km. You need to get your throttle body clean in very alternate servicing. To avoid chain noise replace the chain bottom guide at every 7000 km.

  • The Blue Beast

    Samipendu Das

Ok, so let me inform others about my ownership review of the Blue Beast. I purchased it on August 1, 2021 in West Bengal. I should say every dealership here will force you to buy their insurance else you have to do RTO registration and insurance through agents (You know why). The ex-showroom price was 1 lakh 36000 and on the road it cost me 1 lakh 70000 bucks. So, Buying experience: 3.5 out of 5.
Riding experience: That's the sweetest thing TVS can let you experience. The engine is a gem. If you ride it in the city at 5th gear and keep the engine below 4000 R.P.M, or 55 kmph, you will get 45 kmpl+ mileage in the city. I tested my bikes so many times and I can claim it gave me close to 52 kmpl sometimes. But for this ride it is gentle.
I did a 360 kmpl trip from Kolkata to a forest in Bankura and my speed varied between 70-100 kmph. I got an overall 47 km to a liter. So, this beast will deliver decent mileage if ridden sensibly.
I once was racing with SBSTC buses (local Lamborghinis) on NH2. During this ride, I achieved a top speed of 134 kmph (It's recorded in the TVS Connect app). Even after 120 kmph, it pulls cleanly. I weigh around 90 Kgs, so, a lighter rider may achieve a speedo indicated 140+kmph too.
The only concern is the seat. It's hard, very very hard. After 60 kms of riding, your butt will feel severe pain. Pillion seat is the most useless thing on the bike.
    Performance and mileage wise: 5/5
    Comfort: 4/5
    Servicing and Maintenance:
There is a reminder option in the console and every 3 months you are supposed to do servicing. Engine oil is synthetic and will cost you around 900. Add labor charge and some parts change if required. So you can assume a tight constraint of 1500 INR.
Reliability: I was in Bangalore for a year, and when I returned, I had to change the battery and fuel Injector which was a major cost (around 10,000). But before that, I covered more than 5000 kms and I never faced a single issue. So, I can assure you it's reliable.
    Reliability: 4/5.
    Pros:
    Engine
    Low Maintenance
    Reliability
    Service
    Cons: Seat
I hope I have helped readers with all the info. Thanks, have a good day

And I am very happy with this.

    M M

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is a popular motorcycle in the Indian market, known for its blend of performance, style, and technology. Here's a detailed review covering various aspects of the bike:
    ### Design and Build
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V features an aggressive and sporty design. The sharp lines, muscular fuel tank, and edgy graphics contribute to its sporty appearance. The split seat setup and LED headlamp with DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) add to its modern look. The build quality is robust, and the fit and finish are commendable for its segment.
    ### Engine and Performance
The Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a 197.75cc single-cylinder, four-valve, oil-cooled engine. This engine is capable of producing around 20.5 PS of power at 8500 RPM and 16.8 Nm of torque at 7500 RPM. It comes with a five-speed gearbox. The engine is known for its refined performance, quick throttle response, and linear power delivery. The bike can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in around 3.9 seconds, making it one of the quicker bikes in its segment.
    ### Ride and Handling
The Apache RTR 200 4V offers a well-balanced ride and handling experience. The suspension setup includes telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, which provide a comfortable ride over various road conditions. The bike's chassis is designed for agility, offering precise handling in corners. The ergonomics are sporty yet comfortable, making it suitable for both city commuting and spirited riding.
    ### Braking and Safety
Braking duties are handled by disc brakes on both ends, with the option of a dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) for enhanced safety. The braking performance is strong and confidence-inspiring, providing good bite and progression. The ABS system works effectively to prevent wheel lock-up during hard braking scenarios.
    ### Features and Technology
The Apache RTR 200 4V is loaded with features for its segment. It includes a fully digital instrument cluster that displays a range of information such as speed, tachometer, trip meter, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, and more. The bike also offers Bluetooth connectivity through the SmartXonnect feature, allowing riders to pair their smartphones and access turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alerts, and other data via a dedicated app. Other notable features include a slipper clutch, GTT (Glide Through Traffic) technology, and adjustable brake and clutch levers.
    ### Mileage and Fuel Efficiency
The Apache RTR 200 4V delivers a reasonable fuel efficiency for a bike of its performance category. It typically offers around 35-40 km/l, depending on riding conditions and style. This makes it a practical choice for daily commuting as well as weekend rides.
    ### Pricing and Variants
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is available in multiple variants, with and without ABS, and different feature sets. The pricing is competitive in the segment, offering good value for money considering the features and performance it provides.
    ### Pros and Cons
    **Pros:**
    - Strong and refined engine performance
    - Sporty and aggressive design
    - Feature-rich with modern technology
    - Good ride and handling balance
    - Effective braking with ABS option
    **Cons:**
    - Vibration at higher RPMs
    - Could benefit from a sixth gear for better highway cruising
    - The pillion seat might be uncomfortable for long rides
    ### Conclusion
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V stands out as a well-rounded motorcycle in the 200cc segment. Its combination of performance, features, and aggressive styling make it a compelling choice for riders looking for a sporty yet practical machine. Whether for daily commuting or weekend rides, the Apache RTR 200 4V offers an engaging and enjoyable riding experience.

    - Feature-rich with modern technology
    - Good ride and handling balance
    - Effective braking with ABS option

    - Could benefit from a sixth gear for better highway cruising
    - The pillion seat might be uncomfortable for long rides
    ### Conclusion
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V stands out as a well-rounded motorcycle in the 200cc segment. Its combination of performance, features, and aggressive styling make it a compelling choice for riders looking for a sporty yet practical machine. Whether for daily commuting or weekend rides, the Apache RTR 200 4V offers an engaging and enjoyable riding experience.

The Apache RTR 200 4V is decently powerful and it gets an oil-cooled motor. But, a bit more power and the addition of a liquid-cooling system like the Pulsar NS 200 would have made it certainly better than ever before.

    Kaushik Sharma
