Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the updated range of the Tiger 900. The British ADV is now available in only two trims – GT and Rally Pro. Both models get the same engine and design but differ in terms of hardware and pricing.
The Triumph Tiger 900 range continues to sport a sleek design with butch bodywork. It features the same split LED headlight topped by a transparent visor and a secondary fender below. In thorough ADV fashion, the Triumph Tiger 900 gets a tall stance, an upswept exhaust, and a long seat. Triumph is offering the GT in three colours – Graphite, Snowdonia White, and Carnival Red. Meanwhile, the Rally Pro comes draped in Carbon Black, Matt Khaki Green, and Ash Grey.
Powering the Triumph Tiger 900 is an 888cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It dishes out 106.5bhp and 90Nm, which is 13bhp and 3Nm more than before. The engine is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
Both versions ride on Marzocchi 45mm upside-down forks with manual rebound and compression damping adjustment and 180mm travel. At the rear is a monoshock with manual preload and rebound damping adjustment. The braking hardware, too, is similar and the bikes get dual 320mm front discs and a 255mm rear single disc. The GT model rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear cast aluminium alloys wrapped in Metzeler Tourance tyres. On the other hand, the Rally Pro comes with spoke wheels.
The ARAI mileage of Triumph Tiger 900 [2022-2023] is 21 kmpl.
