The TVS Scooty nomenclature is one of the oldest running model names by the Hosur-based manufacturer. On completing 25 years of the same, the company has introduced two new colour shades for the TVS Scooty Pep+ -- Revving Red and Glittering Gold.
The TVS Scooty has been an important brand for the company that has been offering an attractive range of products that have been designed for the young Indian woman. Currently, TVS has two models that are marketed under the TVS Scooty umbrella, the Scooty Pep+ and the Zest 110.
Besides the new colour options, the TVS Scooty Pep+ remains mechanically the same. It is powered by an 87.8 cc, air-cooled single-cylinder engine that registers 5bhp of max power and 6Nm of peak torque. The motor features TVS’ Ecothrust technology ensuring long-lasting, trouble-free and comfortable rides to consumers. The scooter features telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. For braking, the scooter comes with drum brakes at both ends with Synchronised Braking Technology (SBT). Other features include mobile charger socket, side stand alarm, under-seat storage hooks, DRLs, an open glove box and TVS's patented ‘Eazy’ Stand technology, which reduces the effort required to put the vehicle on the centre stand by 30 per cent.
Along with the addition of two new colour options, the TVS Scooty Pep+ continues to be offered in five colour liveries Frosted Black, Vivacious Purple, Nero Blue, Nero Brown and Princess Pink.
