Triumph has inaugurated a new visitor centre at its factory in Hinckley, Leicester, UK. The manufacturer has invested GBP 4 million (Rs 34.4 crores) in this facility.
The facility will feature eight themed areas displaying the manufacturer’s 115-year history. This will include Triumph’s early and current events in engineering, design, and racing. The experience includes a guided tour to Triumph’s manufacturing process and facilities.
Apart from the first model ever made, the centre includes the 2019 Moto2 prototype along with other rare models and motorcycles used in movies. It also includes a café and shop for visitors to buy merchandise, clothing and souvenirs.
Entry to the Triumph Factory Visitor Experience will be free of charge while the 90-minute factory tour costs GBP 15 (Rs 1293) per person. The facility will be open five days a week with the tour available for four days. It will be open to the public from 1 November.
This year seems to be an eventful year for Triumph as they tied-up with Bajaj and also became the official supplier for Moto2 engines for 2019. The manufacturer also unveiled the Bonneville Speedmaster at their new facility yesterday.
