Matchless Model X Reloaded unveiled at EICMA 2014

After reading all that news about a new bike from the iconic motorcycle maker finding its way to the global market, Matchless has finally unveiled their latest creation at the EICMA 2014 - the Model X Reloaded.

The bike looks truly iconic just like its brand but with the touch of latest craftsmanship. Matchless says that great attention has been paid to technology and innovation which has resulted in the registration of 12 patents.  Lot of chrome has been used on the Model X Reloaded. While we appreciate the overall design, we are not a big fan of spoiling this design with the chrome treatment. 

The company claims that the engine uses an exclusive Matchless design, which has been established and tested. It is a 56.25° V twin 1916cc fuel injection with separate gearbox. To improve the engine cooling and the driver comfort, both exhaust pipes are front oriented, and a fan has been installed beside the rear cylinder which operates automatically when the temperature becomes too high.

There are few old Matchless motorcycles that have made their way to India and we are expecting at least one Model X Reloaded will find a home in India.
