Kawasaki trademarks Ninja R2 at US patent office

Looks like Kawasaki is in no mood to slow down after the kind of response they got for the Ninja H2 and the Ninja H2R. The Japanese manufacturer has applied for trademarking the Ninja R2 name with the US Patent and Trademark office.

This new development has excited a whole lot of motoring enthusiasts. While there are no other details on this upcoming motorcycle, we believe that it could either be a super charged motorcycle or it could also be a quarter-litre motorcycle. As Kawasaki has used the Ninja moniker in this trademark file, it is sure that this motorcycle will belong to the company’s sport motorcycle range and not anywhere else like the cruisers or as a dual-purpose.
