Indian Chief Dark Horse Europe debut at MCN show

After a leaked photo of the upcoming Indian Chief Dark Horse  went viral on the internet, the American manufacturer has officially teased a picture of it. After having a global debut at Dark Horse Challenge Rally in Chicago later this week, this new cruiser will be seen in Europe at the upcoming MCN Motorcycle Show.

Indian Motorcycles have been reinventing themselves since the time Polaris Industries bought them. After successfully launching the new Chief range, the company wants to go a step further and expand its product portfolio. The Scout and the upcoming Dark Horse is a part of this new approach.

The Chief Dark Horse employs the same 111 cubic inch or 1811cc ‘Thunder-Stroke’ engine, which is also used in the rest of the Chief cruiser range. The air-cooled 49-degree V-twin engine is rated at 139Nm of torque and comes mated to a six-speed transmission.

After the global unveil, the Indian Dark Horse will be launched in India. Just like the other Chief motorcycles, the Dark Horse will be sold in India as a completely-built-up (CBU) unit.
