Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has reported 15 per cent growth in total sales in March. The company sold 2, 52,773 units in March as compared to 2, 20,487 units in the corresponding month last year.
The motorcycle sales increased by 47 per cent to 1, 20,738 units in March 2013 from 82,353 in March 2012. The company reported 4 per cent decline in scooter sales at 1, 32,035 units from 1, 38, 134 units in March 2012.
HMSI totals sales in FY 2012-2013 grew by 31 per cent to 27, 54,685 units as against 21, 07,183 units in the last fiscal year.
