Honda has unveiled the CB1000R+ Limited Edition in global markets. The bike is based on the standard CB1000R+ which is sold in India for Rs 14.46 lakhs (ex-showroom).
However, the CB1000R+ Limited Edition is an exclusive offering and gets a few cosmetic and mechanical changes to set it apart. To begin with, Honda has limited the production of the motorcycle to just 350 units worldwide with each bike featuring the unique vehicle number on the tank. Now the tank along with the rear seat cowl gets a white paint with red and blue stripes. It also features a retro-styled Honda ‘Wing’ and a ‘1000R’ logo. The CB1000R+ Limited Edition’s fly screen is also finished in the same paint scheme.
Furthermore, the CB1000R+ Limited Edition offers carbon fibre on the radiator, air-filter box and exhaust shields that add to its exclusivity. Honda has also equipped the bike with a dual-canister aftermarket performance exhaust sourced from SC Project. The CB1000R+ Limited Edition is powered by the same engine as the standard version. The 999cc, inline-four engine produces 141bhp and 104Nm of torque.
The bike will be available in international markets from April 2019. However, Honda is unlikely to introduce this CB1000R+ Limited Edition in India anytime soon.
