Hero MotoCorp will launch a disc brake version of the recently launched Splendor iSmart 110. This will happen close to the festive season.
Currently, the Splendor iSmart 110 is offered only with drum brake setup which is priced at Rs 53,300 (ex-showroom Delhi). In terms of safety and braking performance, disc brakes are always better. However, they are more expensive, which increases the overall cost. So expect the disc brake Splendor iSmart 110 (front disk only) to cost Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,500 more than the drum version.
With the Splendor iSmart 110, the Gurgaon-based manufacturer is focusing on increasing its market share in the 110cc mass market segment. It’s betting big on the good monsoon that will help them increase its overall sales, especially in the rural areas.
