Bajaj CT125X Review: Image Gallery

We recently rode the Bajaj CT125X and tested it for a brief period. While you can head here to read our first ride review of the bike, we’ll take a close look at it through these detailed images in this story.

Bajaj CT 125X Right Front Three Quarter

On the design front, the Bajaj CT125X sports a purposeful design with a handful of ornamental bits. It gets a round halogen headlight with a plastic cowl wrapped around it and an LED DRL. Bajaj has also employed a couple of metal grills around the headlight for protection.

Other bits like the rear luggage rack (5 kg claimed capacity), engine crash guard, belly pan, rear grab rail, saree guard, and long flat enhance the bike’s overall utility.

It’s powered by a 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled developing 10.9bhp and 11Nm. It’s mated to a five-speed gearbox and located in a square tube chassis. Bajaj has borrowed this motor from the one it uses in the international market.

Overall, the CT125X’s motor accelerates quite linearly and the torque is available in a gradual manner. During our test run, we managed to clock a top speed of about 90kmph on the CT. That said, you can feel minor vibrations creep in from the handlebar and the footpegs at higher speeds.

The second and third gears need a little extra conscious effort while shifting and the overall feel of the cogs could be a tad smoother.

The front gaitered telescopic forks respond well and feel plush while the rear dual springs are on the stiffer side.

For the braking hardware, the CT gets a front disc and rear drum brake. The front end’s bite is adequate and the lever feel is also progressive, the rear drum unit could do better in terms of bite.

The CT125X’s rider triangle is also sorted as it gets center set footpegs and the handlebar is also placed towards the rider. The seat height further helps since it doesn’t feel too tall.

On the feature front, the Bajaj CT125X gets LED DRL, USB charging port, and CBS. Its instrument console is a set of dual analog pods with all the necessary readouts.

At an asking price of Rs 74,554 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the disc brake variant, the Bajaj CT125X is the most affordable 125cc motorcycle you can buy today.
