Vespa unveils the Primavera scooter at EICMA 2013

Vespa has unveiled the Primavera scooter at the 2013 EICMA event being held at Milan, Italy. At first glance, the Primavera looks similar to the LX and VX series. The overall styling and design cues resembles the old series but the Primavera will replace the LX and VX models in markets around the world.

The Vespa Primavera gets new body, new five-spoke alloy wheels and front suspension and also new electronic injection system for low emissions. Chrome work can also be seen around the retro scooter. This scooter will house 50cc, 125cc and 150cc engine depending on the markets. The disc brake is standard at the front.

Piaggio is currently selling the LX 125 and the VX 125 in India. Expect the Vespa Primavera to come to India sometime next year
