  • Iron 883 - detailed review or you can say i am sharing my feelings or experience rode for near about 4 years or 20k km.

Detailed review on iron 883:-1. Buying experience, As you are purchasing a harley whether whichever model you feel proud. Bought it from capital harley davidson delhi, they treated me well. Not so much of waiting period.2. Riding experience. Wow, that's something i can't tell but i want to express, it was so amazing that many times you feel like you are a star. Smooth long rides did 900 km a day as well with not much of fatigue. 3. Details about looks, performance:-The look was sleek & sexy, overall performance was awesome. As it comes in sportster category you can do a little bit off-roading. Very much stable and had a firm grip in roads while riding on high speed as well.4. Servicing & maintenance. As for the first 2-year bike is under warranty but still, there are some expenses on servicing which is manageable until there are big issues. (on an avg the servicing cost apart from parts is near about 8k to 9k per servicing) the first service is due in 1600 km or i think 2 months then in every 8000 km run or a year there is servicing cost. Highly recommend going in showrooms only for the maintenance & servicing.5. Pros & cons: Pros:-A. You feel like a star.B. You will be a part of a big riding group in india we call it as hog but we meant as a brotherhood where you will make friends or brother for life.C. Stability.D. Low seat height.E. Aggressive styling.Cons:-A. Quite heavy near about 260 + kg.B. Not very clutch friendly (if you are a half-clutch rider, i believe you will definitely burn them and it is not covered in warranty as well)C. Heating issues while riding in traffic.D. A little bit expensive as on the same displacement category bikes.

  • Expensive but great vehicle

It's a good bike for leisure and long rides. Extremely powerful with great pickup. Looks very stylish and has a very good road presence. Maintenance is expensive. But all superbikes have expensive maintenance. The spare parts are expensive. But the ownership feel is very good. And it turns heads when you ride on the road. The feel and thrill of ride is invaluable. Own it if you love bikes.
