About Harley Davidson Fat Bob
The 2014 Harley-Davidson Dyna Fat Bob FXDF model is referred to as a Dark Custom cruiser with a big motorcycle feel. And with its rider in an aggressive position, the Fat Bob strikes a menacing pose on city streets.
The design of the bike is appealing right from the twin headlamp setup to the dual tail lights at the back. Paired with the sporty slashing tank graphics, the wide18-litre fuel tank blends well with the slimmer bucket seat. This seat gets a perforated cover, silver contrast stitching and sharply cut backside which makes it not only sporty but comfortable as well. Lending style to the motorcycle is a five-inch speedometer that Harley-Davidson calls a ‘multi-function’ LCD display.
Most of the components like the triple clamps, headlamp trim ring, rear shock covers, the battery box cover and engine are blacked out. The new slash-cut rear fender gets the slanted smoked lens that houses the two red-ringed LED tail lamps. Step a little lower and one notices the alloys sporting the H-D logo covered with 16-inch Dunlop tires (180mm rear and 130mm front). The stopping power comes from the dual front 300mm discs with the option of upgrading to ABS as well.
The motorcycle is powered by a twin-cylinder 1583cc engine that produces close to 94bhp of power and 124Nm of torque and this petrol mill comes mated to a six-speed transmission.
The company has added the option of a matte paint scheme apart from the standard colours. The new colour choice includes amber whiskey and sand cammo denim apart from vivid black and black denim.
