Very costly to maintain and not user friendly

First of all its very costly compared to other bikes available in this segment. Furthermore, the maintenance cost is 4-5 times high as compared to normal costs. Support for this bike is also very rare, with no alloy wheels, and low mileage. Better to go for royal Enfield. Benelli does not provide any accessories.

review and riding experience of my benelli imperiale 400

My personal review is that Performance: one of the best bikes in this segment uff the initial torque is very much impressive esp no lag which makes it easy for overtakingComfort: 1)ground clearance is one of the major drawbacks when a pillion rider sits on the central stand and easily hits the speed breaker.2)heating issue is one of the major drawbacks especially in city rides the heat waves hits our leg3)riding comfort is good in this bike and handling feels good compared with similar-segment bikes long rides we can do it easily without much back pain also tiredness won't be feltMileage and service:1)parts are very much expensive compared to similar segment vehicles also there is a delay in service centers majorly there are only a few service stations2)as for me in Chennai city am getting a mileage of 22-26 kmpl whereas in highways 28-30 kmplConclusion:If you are gonna get this bike for daily use it is not at all recommended but if ur a long ride lover this bike is perfect the negative point is parts are expensive and tyres are tube other than that I could say it is one of the best bikes in the segment have ever ride.

A beauty and a beast

The buying experience was good, got it delivered in under 1week. Ever since the first ride till now, this bike is smooth as butter and beautiful for Indian roads. 1,500 idle RPM is a bit high for traffic situations, and low RPM pickup on 2nd gear is not good so got to keep changing to 1st which affects mileage. Servicing and maintenance are higher than RE but worth it because it's a better bike as well. Pros: Looks, Power, Everything else. Cons: Front headlamp should be LED, Double stand too low.

Writing this review after owning it for 5 months and completing 4500 km.No doubt about the quality and riding experience, it is one of the best in class with very low to no vibrations up to the speed of 120 kmph. However, I feel cheated after buying it coz it’s being used for my daily commute and the sales team had confirmed the mileage as 32-35 kmpl but in reality, it hardly touches the 20kmpl mark on day-to-day city rides. The ground clearance is extremely low and touches the humps even without a pillion rider.I have visited the service center twice in the last 5 months for the above issues but no resolution was provided.1st free service I was charged around rs. 2300 when asked for the reason they give you unsatisfactory answers.I am in a dilemma whether to continue with it or sell it and buy a re-interceptor instead.
