At the global launch of the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, the company also unveiled the 2024 Pulsar F250 to the audience. The bike that was showcased had a new black colour with contrasting red and grey graphics pasted rather neatly across the bike. It certainly looked good and uplifted the appearance of the bike.
The 2024 Pulsar F250, like the rest of the bikes in the Bajaj Pulsar range, has a new digital instrument cluster that features Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
The frame, engine and wheels are the same on the street naked version of the bike, the Pulsar N250. It has a 249.07cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that makes 24bhp at 8750rpm and 21.5Nm at 6,500rpm. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox.
Strangely, however, the 2024 Pulsar F250 that was showcased does not get the USD fork that the N250 received as part of this year’s updates. The rear tyre though looked like a 140-section one, similar to the one on the new N250. It is also unclear if the 2024 Pulsar F250 will receive the traction control system and ABS modes that the naked bike has.
Bajaj may have skipped on the USD fork on the F250 to keep costs in check and price the bike competitively. The previous Pulsar F250 received a lukewarm response in India, so much so that Bajaj decided to discontinue the bike. They must be mindful about the price tag of the bike, if and when they decide to relaunch the Pulsar F250 in India.
The other probability is that since the bike was showcased to a global audience, the bike on stage was for export markets while the Indian bike may get a USD fork like the N250. We can only know for sure when Bajaj launches the bike in India. As for the price, while the 2024 Pulsar N250 costs Rs 1.51 lakh, expect the F250 to set you back by an additional Rs 2,000 to Rs 3,000.
