Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC), a global giant of motorcycle manufacturing is headquartered in Japan. It holds major stake in its Indian subsidiary, Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIL). SMIL was set up after Suzuki's re-entry into the Indian two-wheeler market after it severed ties with partner TVS in 2000-01. Suzuki was then the technology provider in the former joint venture company TVS Suzuki.

Suzuki, a Japanese automobiles manufacturing company, manufactures a complete range of motorcycles as well as small combustion-powered engine products. A global giant, it has its production units in more than 22 countries. However, in India, it is mostly known as a car manufacturer, thanks to its collaboration with Maruti. Together they are Maruti Suzuki, the largest automobile seller in India. Suzuki operates in three main segments including motorcycles, automobiles and others.

During the 1950s, 1960s and the better part of the 1970s, the company made motorcycles with two-stroke engines. Suzuki became the first Japanese bike manufacturer to win a motocross world championship when Joel Robert won the 1970 250cc title. Suzuki introduced its first motorcycles with a four-stroke engine, the GS400 and GS750, in 1976. Thereafter, Suzuki established a reputation as a manufacturer of well-engineered sport motorcycles.

Suzuki invented four-wheeled ATVs in 1983 and the high performance ATV in 1985 among many other firsts in the ATV segment. The launch of two of its international models in India reflects Suzuki's intent to cater to the Indian enthusiast. Their India line-up includes the new locally assembled Hayabusa and the entire range of Suzuki superbikes - V-Strom, GSX-S1000 and GSX-S1000F, Intruder M1800R as well as the ATVs - Ozark 250 and QuadSport Z400. Suzuki India's scooters and commuter motorcycles portfolio includes the Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Access, Hayate and Let’s.

Suzuki has recently introduced new bike models like the Burgmann 125 and the Intruder 150 in India which are based on its high powered offerings available in the global market. Suzuki plans to introduce a range of exciting bikes across all categories in 2019 starting with the Gixxer SF.

The dealership was really helpful and Suzuki had all the variants available we were genuinely surprised by their service and Suzuki provides the most hassle-free buying experience, it is very stylish but still a robust and cool-looking maxi-scooter, it has an extremely good riding posture and provides good road feel and very feel good riding experience, it gives an average mileage of 40-45 kmpl in city and about 50kmpl on highways, it is very easy to maintain I had 2 paid services done and both were under 1k It has many Pros Stylish riding posture. Easy maintenance. But only 1 Con Aggressive and cool looks great mileage. The seat is not made for long rides

    1. Buying Experience: Purchasing the Suzuki Gixxer 250 was a breeze. The dealership staff were knowledgeable and helpful, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Plus, the range of accessories and customization options available added a personal touch to the experience. 2. Its agile handling and responsive throttle make manoeuvring through traffic a joy, while its powerful engine ensures exhilarating acceleration on open roads. Whether commuting or exploring, this bike never fails to impress. 3. Details about Looks, Performance, etc.:The Gixxer 250 is a head-turner, with its sporty design and sleek lines exuding confidence and style. The LED headlights and digital instrument cluster not only enhance its modern aesthetic but also improve visibility and readability. As for performance, the bike's 250cc engine delivers a perfect balance of power and efficiency, making it suitable for both daily commuting and spirited rides. 4. Servicing and Maintenance:Suzuki's servicing and maintenance have been exemplary. Scheduled maintenance intervals are reasonable, and the service centres are equipped with skilled technicians who ensure that the bike is always in top condition. Plus, the availability of genuine spare parts and accessories instils confidence in the brand's commitment to customer satisfaction. 5. Pros and Cons: Pros: - Excellent riding dynamics, offering a perfect blend of agility and power. - Stylish design with modern features like LED lights and a digital instrument cluster. - Reliable servicing and maintenance support from Suzuki's service centres. - Competitive pricing compared to other bikes in its class. • Suzuki V-Strom SX
    Awesome bike
    Saurabh Parsodkar
Styling, design, features Suzukis aren’t going to win beauty pageants except for their few Superbikes. In this case, the front is better than the rear with the beak as the most attractive element. I feel this bike should have been just named SX250 rather than adding V-strom, which kind of dilutes the pedigree of the bigger V-strom. I was initially of the opinion that this contraption is only meant for cost-conscious countries like India, was surprised that the same model has been launched in Australia as well in 2023. Twin-cylinder engine model exists in Europe. Although that model may not make the cut for the V-strom badge, however, it at least has a twin-cylinder engine. Many aspects have been carried over from 250cc Suzuki siblings. Part sharing is good in the platform, however, Suzuki India should have worked on both suspensions. Getting the ADV look is correct. However, the kind of roads that Indian cities have now mandate plusher suspension..
