Most amazing bike. Hopefully i would purchase this bike as soon as possible. But seriously this bike is awesome. It is one of the superbike from yamaha but the best medium budget superbike from yamaha . But it has a competitor like ktm, ninja ,pulsar, dominar. This is the bike i would prefer because one advantage is the abs system it has.

Booked it from nearest outlet easily and got the bike handed over after 2 days. So smooth above 100kmph. Had a wonderful experience on the empty road to ride above 130kmph and the bike was still in stealth and had no vibrations. Damn guys you gotta see the upgrade from it's earlier version with same price tag and the upgraded design and its powerful engine. A completely different look from the v2. Has all digital speedometer and console. No doubt it competes 220cc bikes in acceleration. Servicing and maintenance is pocket friendly. The pros i visualized and experienced were its powerful engine that generates 19bhp at 155cc. It has wider tyres from its predecessors. The clutch is so smooth while shifting the gears or slowing down the bikes on brakes. And the most important part is that it got dual channel abs equipped to its brakes. So i tried to check those abs in rain at 45kmph damn, the bike stopped without a single skate with no time. The only cons i noticed that it will be a bit difficult to short height riders as it got aggressive riding position on a bit of height. Its led lights are not powerful in the night as compare to others.

I'm very excited to got this bike. If ride this bike like a ship... Stunning look. Performance wise under 300cc category segments no on can beat this machine. It's abs performs well. Its initial pick up is insane. Riding position is good. Good tyre. High quality product...

Pros: 1. Stonking engine 2. Good build quality 3. I've ridden the non ABS variant but now the inclusion of ABS is really welcoming 4. Braking was great. And now with ABS, I hope that braking performance got better. 5. Good for touring Overall, great mechanical Cons: 1. Price - now with Kawasaki making a great move by launching Ninja 300 at approximately 3lakhs R3 seems to be pretty overly priced 2. This bike is not a pure "R" series bike as it doesn't offer that level of sportiness as compared to other R series bikes like R6 or R1 3. After having ridden RC390 and Yamaha R3 back to back, I really felt that handling of R3 is not that great, probably because of the weight 4. Looks are subjective but with that asking price Yamaha should have upgraded the design especially the front end 5. And yes, mileage is around 25-28kmpl on the highways and in the city traffic, mileage drops down to single digit Overall it is a good bike but it hasn't got enough bling to attract potential buyers. It gets the job done but it is not a proper sportsbike. Now with Kawasaki offering Ninja 300 at 3L, Yamaha have got to up their strategy because Ninja 300 is a perfect alternative for R3. And if you want a great track tool just get RC390. I ride my friend's R3 and to be frank he's now thinking of getting a bike more sportier.

I had earlier owned r15 which i enjoyed very much. But when i upgraded to r3 the satisfaction levels doubled with; sheer handling ease and quality when you don’t feel like you are controlling some external machine, it’s as responsive as your own body parts.Power and acceleration is amazing and will never let you down when you aim for anything. Even when i have left bike unused for a month due to travel it starts without any issues (with r15 i had this issue).Mileage is pretty good for such a powerful bike.I am thoroughly enjoying and looking for next upgrade to r6 when we start manufacturing in India.
