This is the first bike of my life. Precisely first bike of my family. I gifted to my dad with my first salary. And it's yamaha sz rr v2 .Initially i was confused between honda cb unicorn 160 and yamaha sz rr v2. Finally after a long research i chose the later. And i feel wise of myself for choosing yamaha sz rr v2. The bike is totally love.I never ever rode bike of the same price range with that much comfort , smoothness and affordable mileage yet. And this is not only my view point. Whoever ride this bike , becomes satisfied fully. The bike comes with the latest blue core technology that actually gives the bike an awesome smoothness and mileage. Gear clutch handling is the most lovable thing of this bike. Its very very smooth and clear. This bike is both for aged persons and youngsters. It gives pleasure of riding to all category. And after-all its from yamaha. The brand says many things. Look-wise i will say its sportier cum commuter. Its a family bike. Anyone can ride it.I actually suggest this bike to those who needs a commuter cum sport bike. A bike that has smoothness at its par and affordable mileage. A bike that is actually a family bike. And yes its from yamaha. Regarding cons i didn't find much. Its all about perspective. This bike is not for those who need high pickup and bike stunts. It gives some sort of vibrations when speed crosses 80 mark. But as i said its not for racers.And yes one more con that i come across is tvs tyres. They should give some good tyres. I had my first servicing done. And yes i am satisfied with the yamaha guys. And bike became more smooth. Overall i will say if anyone needs a family bike with a budget of 80k. Go for it. You will never regret it.

Within 10000 kms 3 speedometer cables needed to change. The service centre persons don't give proper service. The shock absorber (rear right side) broken just after 1100 kms ride then i complained in the showroom. They told me to go to yamaha service centre then i didn't get any service from the service centre. Then i repaired it outside in a bike repairing shop.

Nice bike for daily commute and for tour as well. I purchased this on sep 19 2017. It was good experience in the showroom. Getting 45 kmpl after 1 service.I am thankful to bikewale because i checked in this site got amazing response for the bike by the users.Then i went for sz rr. Look of this is awesome. It is very smooth to ride. Only digital meter is missing if it contains digital meter then i will give this bike five out of five rating. Its performance is very good look is awesome i like this bike very much but i hope that it should have digital meter to attract more people to purchase it.

1: buying experience is quite good , from Memari Yamaha . the dealer behaved good and help me to get bike ready as soon as possible.
2: riding experience is also good as it is a commuter bike and no back pain occurred easily. no vibration up to 80km per hr. top speed I got 110 km .
3: looks wise is good and sporty .
4: servicing cost is low . I paid only 346 rupees at first service from Kalyani Yamaha at Bengal.
5: pros - good look , good sound , smooth engine from Yamaha , pillion seat is best in this segment , good switch quality, head light illumination is good , good mileage around 56km per litre , 14 litres fuel tank capacity.
cons : cheap plastic quality , no trip meter is available, argument against its speedometer life is bad.

I bought in trichy from ss yamaha. Customer service was good and servicing experience was way above average. This bike is very good for commuting every day and at the same time for having a powerful engine. It gives a very comfortable ride. Its lightweight, although more of the weight is concentrated at the front of the vehicle. Because of the center of mass in the front, the experience of driving with a passenger was not the best, although quite good. (pulsar and unicorn were better for driving with two people). As mentioned before, for single person driving, its very comfortable. Servicing cost will not be high if serviced regularly and spare parts are also cheap. 90kmph is max speed i was able to control the bike easily. Looks are quite good. This bike doesn't have any special cons that are not present in other company 150cc vehicles.

I am using this bike for 11 years.
Buying experience was very good.
Best comfortable sitting for me as per my height.
Riding experience also good but when i use rear brakes the rear tyre sleeps often..
Overall bike is best.
But engine problems are as it is since date of purchase. While company servicing team or engineers also unable to find the problem.
Speed stuck after 70 km/h.
Pickup also good.
But engine leaps many times.
Maintainance is so so.
Servicing cost high while problems remains same after servicing.
Disk breaks are not durable. Stuck with tyre all the time.
Self is awesome. It starts in one try in winter after 11 years of using.
Mileage is below 40 km/l
So over all bike is good. But service cost and experience is very bad.
