Disappointing performance of saluto 125
Srijan Mukherjee
It is a daily commute bike. But the performance wise it is disappointing. Engine power is low. Mileage is decent. 55kmpl. Servicing is also bad. The only good is the look. I like it very much. But there are many better option price wise. Discover , shine etc.If budget supports go for shine sp. I think it is the best in class of 125 segment.

Yamaha saluto- best 125cc segment bike in india
6 years ago
Amaresh Nayak
Hello guys,
After going through various websites which should i buy honda sp shine , hero glamour or yamaha saluto. Finally i went for this beauty. It is light weight, does not tremble even at 90 kmph, very efficient in case of fuel consumption. Top speed - 100 kmph which i think if very fine for a 125cc bike. Acceleration and pick up is very good cause of blue core engine and light weight of bike combined. You can reach 60kmph in about 12 secs. Headlight is amazing, attracts many viewers at night.
I am completely satisfied with this bike. Will update review at 3 more months.
Thanks.

1.1 such a great bike for all purposes. I will get mileage for this bike 74 kms . I don't create rumor. This bike is same as yamaha fz v1 engine. Sound of the engine is same. When compared to other 125cc bikes, this one is better than to all. Because i am a mechanic. Yamaha is better for the engine while compared to other companies. Its my suggestion. Thank you.

On road price 82000. Mileage 68 . Riding posture very good . I use this bike daily 70 km . My height is 5.11 and good for me. No back pain . But seat is not more comfortable .. Cause seat is slim .. So u need extra work on seat around 2000 rs for more comfort. Breaking is good under this price.. Company give ubs .. Means u can use push foot break n it work front n back both .. Main problem is one parts not available on local market . But in showroom available .. N one think in showroom part cost is very low price.. Yamaha make this bike very smartly tank capacity 450rs tank full n u can cover long distance in this . Coz mileage is too good .. Vibration feel after 60 but u can easily ride 80 km. After 80 u feel not good coz this is not 200 cc .. This only 125. I done 350 km in a day in this bike with pillion .. In hills. Little back pain n shoulder n hips pain i feel. But this is not touring bike. U need do some modification in seat for long ride if u are heavy and healthy. If u are thin no need to modify. Tank also divided in 3 part .. If bike skirt n tank damage u have no need to change tank. U can change only effected part . Tubeless tires . Handle bar position good. Mileage good. More than 60...

Everything is perfect about this bike, till now 2600 km. Awesome average 65 to 70. Love it once it gets into form after 2 km from start in the morning. Look and colour option is best in its segment of 125 cc. Love this bike in its segment. I went forward for honda shine and hero but this was different from others which are plying for so long. A change was my thought and i got it with this bike.
thank you.

Thank you.

Must change oil between 1500 to 2000kms. Maintain speed below 50kms upto 10,000 kms. And apply oil for chain sprocket one day a week. That's all...

A change was my thought and i got it with this bike.
thank you.
