2 year now my honest review from day to day life review for this bike
5 years ago
Pradeep Prasad
I bought the saluto rx 110 in 2016, now reached two year. I have to say this bike is awesome for mileage , i got 84 kmpl while checking at once , moreover company claims 82kmpl. I am a lean person not much fat ,that makes me unable to handle most bikes stand or in central stand, but my bike weigh less means very lesser than most of the bikes on the road ,easy to handle and force to run and even central stand also myself to be ...Some dislikes also on this bike 1.The tyre and the size , is small ..And slippy sometime, which makes me fear on road while braking on higher speeds 2.Other than this , i don't feel any disadvantages from this bike. Yes one more, this bike is not suitable for very long rides because this bike makes hurt your back very well...But the ride is pleasantly enjoyable even on back-pain ,i love to ride this bike..The pros ,i mention below Pros 1. Superb corner handling because of less weight, that means performance handling on this bike is similar to some of the superior bikes 2.Ride quality is good on lower speeds, mostly we can feel it on city rides 3. Easily manageable to put central stand by one person 4.Awesome mileage, from my word its worth your pocket money under this huge petrol price hikes 5.Oil change can maximize to 4000km , a good service period for this model 4' clutch is good Oh i forget , some more dislikes 1. Headlight is not bright enough. So i forceful ly avoiding night time travels 2.Tubeless tyre and braking always done carefully while on road These dislikes , due to the cost cutting of the bike to put under 60,000rs range. So if u want to buy a bike , perfectly for mileage and ride quality and less weight....Then this is the one.

Being a fan of yamaha since my first experience with yamaha rx100 & gladiator, i bought yamaha saluto rx last year December 2017, since then i had no issues related to this bike. The ride is very comfortable and smooth. In short yamaha kept up to his name and brand image. Although, there were some minute minor issue and cost cutting in ergonomics but unlike other similar brands in this section yamaha didn't seem to compromised in quality engine. To sum up my overall experience with this bike, i have mentioned pros and cons below:-Pros : 1. Mileage 2. Stylish design and looks 3. No nonsense engine 4. Smooth and comfortable ride Cons : 1. Kick top has no rubber grip (got hurt several times due to this) 2. Tuning issue (had to visit service centre several times got this issue resolved. 3. Cost cutting in ergonomics 4. Overall customer service experience could be much better.

I own this bike in last November it differs from other 110cc commuter. Its goods while comparing to tvs victor honda livo bajaj platina discover, suzuki hayate and hero splendor and passion pro. Yamaha saluto rx has very smooth clutch, large horn, very good look, less noise, good pick up and worth for money. Its gives me 72 kmpl in city and 76 in long travel.

This bike is good for daily use, generally inside city. But i m partially unsatisfied with this model as some parts are not well fitted and i needed to go to service centre twice to fix nuts of handle. Otherwise, average is above 55. And pickup is awesome. Engine is running very smooth and noiseless. Yamaha provides wide range of colours for this model. Look is very attractive which make people jealous and stars at my bike as my new bike is so much attractive in golden and black colours. Better than honda shine and tvs victor.

Style ok.
Engine performance, fuel economy and gearbox engine performance is well. Fuel efficiency is best (more than 80 kmpl). Gearbox has no issues it is working properly. Initial milage is very less but later on it is much more.
Ride quality & handling as it is lightweight bike, it is easy to ride.
Final words good bike in 50k-55k for milage.
Areas of improvement should provide front disc brake version.
Pros
milage
cons
no major issues

I am now 2 months into riding the bike, and it has performed reasonably good. I brought it from vinayak yamaha in banglore, they are slow in their service & response. I am getting a mileage of 65 on average & the ride is smooth, pickup is good, balance and handling are good. Looks are average, like common bikes in this sector. The bike is very light, and so skids on heavy or sudden breaking. Its good for daily commute and occasional outings. 75km up and down in 1 trip, the bike reached 82kmph, and was stable.

2 year now my honest review from day to day life review for this bike

Oil change at 1000, 4000, 8000 kms. Need to replace oil filters also sometimes. A regular service at yamaha service centre will keep bike condition excellent.

Buying experience was little bit doubtful but after buying my riding experience was totally awesome. Looks of this bike is totally simple and performance is best for daily commuters. Mileage is best comparing other bikes. Servicing and maintenance is not needed regularly but we have to take maintain it. It is best bike for daily users and affordable.

Good Bike

I am now 2 months into riding the bike, and it has performed reasonably good. I brought it from vinayak yamaha in banglore, they are slow in their service & response. I am getting a mileage of 65 on average & the ride is smooth, pickup is good, balance and handling are good. Looks are average, like common bikes in this sector. The bike is very light, and so skids on heavy or sudden breaking. Its good for daily commute and occasional outings. 75km up and down in 1 trip, the bike reached 82kmph, and was stable.
